Our Initiation as men, leaders and brothers.
Founding AWAKE MAN has been a journey of initiation… rapid initiation. I’ve watched Daniel’s (old) life disintegrate piece by piece as old patterns are cleared out, people are let go of, money is let go of. It’s a work of art in its own unique way. For me, I am discovering more and more what it is to be a divine man: connected to my power and my softness. A powerful manifester, yet a playful boy & bringing together these balances within myself.
Creating and leading your authentic vision is no joke. IT GOES TO WORK ON YOU.
The first purpose of any vision is what it calls you into within yourself. The vision represents an upgrade of yourself and life. As you say “yes” and step forth into that, you will be initiated and upgraded. Life will test you, stretch you and allow you to really see that this is a process of your own growth.
This to me is the beauty of the creative process.
The purpose of this writing is to assist you in beginning the enquiry of what it would take for you to be all in.
One of the things that I am most proud of, is the fact that I have to a point where I can truly say that I'm "all in" for life.
I'm not sacrificing myself at all.
I'm not holding back.
I'm in integrity with my heart.
I push my own levels of comfort over and over again.
I'm not doing anything for the sake of money alone.
This by no means says I am perfect or I've figured it all out, it simply means that I'm living fully and really 'going for it' the best I can.
To come to this point has been a serious journey.
It's taken a lot.
I've stepped into the unknown more times than I can count, repeatedly taking what many would consider 'leaps of faith'. I've met my deepest fears, I've had to let go of people and I've been tested as a man.
But the liberation of feeling that I'm truly meeting the edge of life, that I'm not...
This is an invitation to just let yourself say "yes" to life.
One of the biggest pitfalls of the journey of personal transformation is the delaying of just saying "yes" to what you really want, letting go of the things that don't serve you and taking some real steps in life.
Life doesn't have a challenging time to support you once you start taking these steps, but it sure as hell does when you're all caught up in your head and procrastinating on really stepping into a new gear.
Whatever the excuse or reason... it's just that... an excuse or reason. It's an idea that 98% of the time lacks actual reality.
So why not shortcut your journey of embodying your leadership by just saying "yes" to what's calling you.
You don't need to analyse all the steps, just say "yes" to the first one.
Life takes away the complications by giving us a simple 'rule of thumb' for succeeding and living fully. It works like this:
"Always say "yes" to...
